Problem: Traditional certificates can be faked, are hard to verify, and Web3 apps require users to hold ETH for gas fees. Solution (ProofX): Users create and mint blockchain-verified certificates as NFTs on Base Sepolia without needing ETH. UGF lets them pay gas using MockUSD, making Web3 simple and beginner-friendly
How UGF was used
UGF (Universal Gas Framework) lets users perform blockchain transactions without holding ETH. In ProofX, when a user mints a certificate NFT, UGF allows them to pay gas fees using MockUSD instead of ETH. This creates a gasless and beginner-friendly Web3 experience, making NFT minting as simple as using a normal web application.
